"We only had dinner there but it was all nicely prepared. Lots of pilgrims go there with St Francis decorations but the food is much more interesting than the standard pilgrim meal. Loved my Cioccolato Bianco con Gelato artigianale al Pistacchio e Sbriciolata di Biscotto Amaretto."

"We started in the hotel on our recent pilgrimage on the Via Di Francesco. The room was clean and comfortable. We had an external bathroom which was immediately outside our room so very easy to access. There was a comfortable common lounge that was very close to our room. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good. We ordered the pilgrim's menu €15 for a primi, seconde and side dish. There was an additional €2 coperta. Including a litre of house wine the total for 2 of us was €41. Very reasonable. The service was excellent. I highly recommend the rooms and the restaurant."

"We visited this restaurant this summer- it's in a quiet location in Valfabbrica, and you can contact them on WhatsApp, which is really convenient- we asked for a vegan meal for 4 of us, and whether our dog could join us, it just wasn't any trouble at all for them, and we enjoyed a tuscan bean soup and then a simple pasta with tomato sauce and salad; very reasonable prices, and top marks for an immaculate, huge bathroom which is always a wonderful asset for any restaurant. A choice of a vegan dessert would have been great to round off the meal. There is an outside space as well."

"Had a wonderful stay at Sui Passi di Francesco in Valfabbrica while on the Pilgrim Way to Assisi. Warm hospitality, friendly service and a delicious dinner (extra)."

"Very charming and delicious restaurant with excellent service and elegant staff. Elisa and her mother have a great menu with an additional special selection of truffel dishes. The food was very good and at fantastic prices. Worth the visit and you should make a reservation. They also have a day menu for pilgrims!"

"Very convenient downtown location. Appears to be a favorite location of the Assisi trail trekkers. We did not stay at the hotel as we live locally but having travelled throughout Umbria, have to say that this restaurant never disappoints. Food is consistently delicious and prices are reasonably. Restaurant is immaculate and owner is friendly - both of which are very much appreciated. Check it out! You will not be disappointed."
